On Friday 25 October 2013, our school celebrated the national anniversary of 28 October 1940. According to law, the student of third grade, Pavlou Stratigula, was awarded with the honour of holding our national flag during the school's parade, and next to her the best students of the third grade Dimou Christine and Kehagia Evaggelia, of the second grade Xylagras Panagiotis, Bobotas.G.Christos and Tararas Fotios. Also, of the first grade Tsapolari Mariza completed the group.

Then, awards of progress were given to students who during the school year 2012-13 were distinguished for their successful studies and excellent character.
The celebration was completed with the reading of documents of that era, relative videos and poems by the students, and ended with our National Anthem.
